Opportunities and Challenges in the Overseas Concrete Additives Export Market under Infrastructure Recovery

In recent years, many countries around the world have increased investment in infrastructure construction. Projects in transportation, municipal services, real estate and other fields have been continuously implemented, driving a steady growth in the overseas market demand for concrete admixtures and bringing opportunities for the export sector.

From a regional perspective, the urbanization process in Southeast Asia and the Middle East is accelerating, and large-scale infrastructure projects are being launched in a concentrated manner. There is a strong demand for naphthalene-based and aliphatic water-reducing agents with good cost performance; in Russia and Central Asia, infrastructure and energy projects are advancing, and there is an increase in demand for pumping-type and early-strength admixtures; in the African market, infrastructure construction is just starting, and there is a large market space for various admixtures.

At the same time, the export business also faces certain challenges: First, there are differences in product standards and certification requirements among different countries, which place requirements on the compliance ability of suppliers; second, fluctuations in international logistics and changes in exchange rates affect procurement costs; third, market competition intensifies, and customers' requirements for product quality, technical services, and delivery capabilities continue to increase. For new entrants to the export business, focusing on specific product categories, polishing product quality, and improving supporting services are the core paths to establish a foothold in the market.
